Welcome to the St Andrew’s College Rugby Club website.

St Andrew’s College has a proud tradition of rugby that extends back to the first days of its inception in 1917. Many collegians have worn the thistle with pride, representing the College in the passion and commitment that they display when it is emblazoned on their breasts.

"High flew the cross of the brave and the free"

The aim of the rugby club is to foster and develop the old fashioned values that came with representing the College in our national game in the past and merge them with the current rugby climate.

We aim to form a unique and successful organization that develops young leaders of spirit and pride within the camaraderie of a rugby team. To develop our players so that they have an appreciation of the thinking behind the game provide opportunities for coaches, players and managers to fulfil their potential as participants in the game. Create a climate of excellence that breeds successful results.

If you would like to become involved with the St Andrew's College Rugby Club as a coach, manager, supporter or even just to maintain the camaraderie that the thistle brings, please email janderson@stac.school.nz and we will get back to you.
